GaCo wins Chairman's Award

At the FRC Chesapeake Regional in Baltimore Maryland today, Team 1629 (GaCo) won the coveted Chairman's award.

The Chairman’s Award was created to keep the central focus of the FIRST Robotics Competition as our ultimate goal for transforming the culture in ways that will inspire greater levels of respect and honor for science and technology, as well as encourage more of today’s youth to become scientists, engineers, and technologists.

G-FORCE is Winning Alliance in Ohio.

G-FORCE is Winning Alliance in Ohio.

G-FORCE was victorious again at the Ohio FTC regional this weekend.

After winning all our qualifying matches, G-FORCE was placed as the top seeded robot.
We then selected Teams 2888 and 315 to join us in our alliance.

The Alliance won all of its semi-final and final elimination matches to become the Winning Alliance.

Thanks to Team 2888 (our Super Shooting partner), and Team 315 (The super blocker) for making it an exciting competition.

G-FORGE Auto Mode Sampler

As we prepare for our FTC competition in Cincinati Ohio, I thought we should show off some of our new Autonomous modes.

SimPerch. First public release.

Hi everyone.

Although it's SimPerch 3.0, it's the first Official release of the Seaperch Simulator that Kendrick Bender has written.

Download the installer from here: http://tinyurl.com/simperch

It's 29MB, so it may take a while on a slow connection.
Once you have the file, just run it to install the program.

G-FORCE playing in MD FTC Finals

I love this picture. It's the essence of a great match.

The G-FORCE robot (2818) is in the process of shooting for the outside goal. The drive team looks extremenly relaxed, and the crowd is going crazy.

What a great showing by G-FORCE and their supporters.

The team also won the "Think" award for doing a great job of documenting their journey to the competition.
